Adventure Friday

I must admit that hubby and I do not take all 3 kids out with us often. There are several reasons for that the main one being that our car was so small that when I strapped Makayla in(booster seat) my hand got stuck every single time in between the carseats. Well that is fixed since we bought our minivan. This morning we woke up and got all 5 of us ready. Then we hauled our little family to the courthouse to switch titles over for both of our new vehicles. (I say new because they are new to us but technically they are used vehicles). The kids were GREAT. They just sat there happily and quitely. We got LOTS of sweet comments on them.

Then we had a few more errands to run and after they were done I decided to take all 3 of them out to Walmart by myself. Now I must admit that this is the VERY FIRST TIME I have EVER taken all 3 of them out in public by myself. I always have a friend with us to help. Well today I did it. They got to spend the money we gave the 3 of them and I did a little shopping myself and they were perfectly behaved. You cannot know how much I love my van. I seriously got all 3 of them in and out quicker than I could get 2 of them in and out in our old car. Today was quite an accomplishment. It was a great day.

Makayla is 100% better. She didn't throw up anymore last night and was perfect and happy today. The baby woke up with a little cold sore on his mouth but other than that all is well.

And have I mentioned how much I love my van?:)

So glad you are enjoying your new van! Buckling 3 kids into a car is such a pain, it's so much easier in a van! Sounds like they had a great time shopping at Walmart too!

I'm very excited for you. Going from a car to SUV was sooo awesome! It's been almost two years and I still am grateful for the space every time I go out.

I love the picture of them all in the cart!
