Healing and Getting Back to Business

This has been the week from HELL! We are finally starting to see some results from the insurance company but this is just the beginning.

I wanted to post about my decluttering project today to get my mind off of all of this stressful stuff. Right now this is my dining room table. This is just the start of garage sale items. All of this came from my kitchen and some of my living room. This pile is going to continue to grow as soon as my neck feels 100% again.

I have been trying to get little things sorted while I am resting. Tonight my project is going to be to sort out our ton of VHS movies. We LOVE movies. Our idea of quality time together is laying on our bed after the kids have gone to sleep and watching movies. We have aquired an abundance of tapes in the past couple of years. I will admit that we haven't had our VCR hooked up in over 6 months. So I think it is time to thin out our VHS collection. That is going to be hard but my goal is to only keep 10-15 of them by the time I am done tonight. Our DVD collection continues to grow so there isn't really a need to have 50 VHS movies. I will let you all know how I did on those tomorrow.

Hopefully I will be up and running normally again soon and I can finish the entire apartment. I also have a few other ideas I am considering but I will let you know about those later. Have a great week!!

Looks like you have quite a pile to get rid of already! That's awesome! I was just looking through our pile of VHS movies, we have quite a few too! And we never watch any of them anymore except for the kids' Disney ones.

I have recently gotten rid of all of my vhs movies. Ryker has a few left but otherwise they are gone & thank God! DVD's take up way less space & space is priceless! Take it easy chic!
