In the last few weeks we have had to deal with more than I could have imagined. We are just now getting to a place where things are calming down again. A few weeks ago the boy got a mosquito bite on his eye that caused it to swell so badly that you couldn't see his eyelashes. So after a trip to the ER he was put on steroids and antibiotics and it cleared it right up. Then 2 days ago Makayla had a very mysterious rash covering all of her back, arms and neck. So yet another ER trip and yet another prescription for steroids and she is on the way to recovery.

The other stuff we have been dealing with has been a nightmare. But we are moving forward. The other day when we took Makayla to the ER the boy started throwing up that night. It was a very long night needless to say.

Last night I was laying in bed and I couldn't help but smile. Despite everything that has been happening I was happy and content. I had my two little girls asleep in their bedroom, the boy asleep on his bed next to ours(we moved his bed into our room to split them all up for easier bedtimes), hubby asleep next to me and the dogs both curled up under my legs at the foot of the bed. Our life is hectic and crazy and stressful but we are blessed beyond measure.

We are still without internet but hopefully not for much longer. I miss reading everyone's blogs and I will catch up soon I promise.
