It is the one place that constantly welcomes you back. It is where your family grows and learns. It is a showcase of your memories, hopes and dreams. Your home should be a reflection of you. Can you tell I am on a decorating kick this week? I got the new IKEA catalog in the mail the other day. Man they have some great stuff in there this year. I have already mapped out my plan for tax return time. LOL. There are a lot of smaller things I can do in the meantime though. I am planning on creating some sort of a picture wall and covering several of our decorative pillows I don't like anymore.

I personally believe that you should always decorate your home the way YOU want to. Afterall you are the one who will be living there right? I am determined to make our home cozy and welcoming. Everything in our house is pretty much kid friendly too. When I was a teeenager I LOVED to decorate my room. I always had friends comment on how awesome it was. Imagine my excitement when I got married, moved out and had my own home to decorate. I still get excited about making decorating changes.

So today look around your home and see what small changes you can make to make your home a happier environment. There is always something that can be done. Have fun while you do it too. :):):)
