COMPLETE

We are now complete. Mason is here!! Went in Monday morning and they started Pitocin around 8:15. I got my epidural at 4 cm and it didn't work on my left side. It did help on my right though. I went from being at 4 for a few hours to 10 in less than 10 minutes. It was that fast. Nurse checked me said I was 4, checked me less than 10 minutes later and was screaming for the doc. I was screaming from the pain by then and I don't scream. It was that bad. I was in labor for a little less than 6 hours. This was by far the most painful birth but it was so worth it. We are all head over heels for him. He is a very alert baby. He spent half the day yesterday looking around the room and studying everything.

I swear if I loved him any more my heart would literally explode. He is such a little love bug and has a whole head full of blond hair.He had to stay in the nursery last night because he has a little jaundice but he is supposed to get to come home this afternoon. I cried because I didn't want to leave him but I know he is perfectly safe in the hospital and we had GREAT nurses the whole time. I just can't wait to get my baby boy home with us.
