KIDS and LAUNDRY!!

Everytime I close my eyes I see kids and laundry.
Maybe that is because I have been watching my
friends son as well as all 3 of mine for a few days now and I have done about 12 loads of laundry.
I have gotten a lot accomplished this past week though.

Notice I still haven't moved that blue coffee table trunk out of my living room like I wanted to do last week though. It is on my to-do list for today.

It gets pretty crazy with all 4 of them here. I mean CRAZY! Yesterday I thought I was going to lose my mind when the 4 of them started screaming and running around in a circle. It was NOT pleasant. But I survived and today I only have my 3 and believe me I am going to take full advantage of that.
I mailed off our Christmas cards yesterday. One less thing to worry about having to do. Why is is that the holidays get so chaotic? There is just so much to do and right when you think you are just about done a thousand more things come up.

Today I have a few more household things to do and you guessed it...MORE LAUNDRY as well. With 5 of us it never stops. There is always the dreaded laundry. How can 5 people produce so much dirty clothes?

I am off to go see what my kids just snuck out of the pantry(I'm guessing chips) and to go to the aid of the laundry basket crying out for help. Have a great day!

There are only 4 of us and the amount of laundry we have astounds me. Don't even get me started on dishes LOL

Yes, but what I discovered is that teaching children to do laundry is something they can accomplish well. My son, now 18, has been doing the household laundry for years - he loves it. I think (as soon as I'm able) I'm going to get one of those front loaders - so he can actually watch the wash cycles!

Ugh. Laundry. It's just me & DH, but we had 5 loads to do on Sunday. Hope you're able to take a few minutes of "me" time today and relax. Sounds like you've more than earned it!
