Last night the girls and I colored for quite a while after they got their bath. I was completely surprised when Makayla showed me the horse pic she had just finished coloring. She stayed in the lines without any help from me!! She was most proud of these 2 so I let her put them on the fridge. It is like I blinked and my baby girl became a big kid. She is reminding me everyday to clean her earrings and turn them. So cute.
Remember my goal to simplify and de-clutter? Well it is well on it's way. I must confess that I have a serious obsession with celebrity magazines. I collect them. I buy them every week. Well last night I decided it was time to once again weed through the 40 or so on my shelf. I kept 4 I think and the rest are gone. That is a HUGE step for me. I must say that decluttering is very freeing. I can actually breathe in my home and not feel overwhelmed.
When I am overwhelmed everyone suffers because of it. Lately I have been making time to sit down and be with my kids. To get the girls ready for school this year and to just enjoy my babies. I can't wait until I have accomplished my goals for the clutter and can really relax and enjoy my family and friends.

I hear you on the magazines! My problem is with scrapbooking and decorating magazines. I haven't done the big purge yet...makes me nervous to think about it. :)
Amazing how freeing a little de-cluttering can be. Still weeding out some stuff myself. WTG on clearing out those magazines! :)
