Simplify

I have visited quite a few blogs recently and I have found one word that most are describing as a goal for the new year. SIMPLIFY.I am seeing this word everywhere. So yesterday I stopped and took a minute to think about how I can simplify. I went through the shelf where I keep all the kids cups, sippys and bowls. I got rid of the Avent bottles I have had stored even though the baby has been off of them completely for a few months now. It felt good to clear some things out again. Now the only cups and bowls that are on the lower shelf are ones that are commonly used.

I am going to continue to finds ways to simplify. I mean it is hard enough to get through my day with 3 kids under 5 much less get around a ton of clutter and stuff we don't need. I think I am up for the task. So my new word for the year is: SIMPLIFY!

I think this is a great theme for all to have! One step at a time.

Great word. And quite frankly, its something most Americans need to learn how to do.

I got rid of all but like 3 of my son's cups. My daugther is getting ready to start using them too and I dread having all of those sippy cups again. I'm going to try to just get a few and see if we can keep the count down. Glad to see it is working for you. Simplify is a great inspiration.

WTG! It's amazing how easily we collect stuff and then hold onto it b/c we *might* need it someday. I'm slowly clearing out extra & unused stuff in my little kitchen so I have space for what I do use! :)

thanks for the comment on my blog!

Cleaning out sippys is a great place to start...I think I may do that myself.

I will have to check back more and get some ideas for my own simplification journey. :)
