So this is Winter

Pretty much all of the U.S. is dealing with Winter temps and storms. Everyone knows how much I HATE having the heater on in the house but it has been on for the past 24 hours. So we have been staying at home inside where it is warm and cozy. I have to admit that this is one of the times I am glad we live in a small apartment. Everything just seems so cozy. Like this is our little corner of the world for comfort. Yes I am LOVING this weather. Hubby and I have been watching movies and having a great time. Last night the kids went into their room to play and I caught them all having a picnic.

Look at all that food.

Snuggling in for the night.

Last night hubby and I were in the living room and we were playing around. It was 11:00 and I was tired but he wanted me to watch another movie. I was too tired so he was trying to grab me and make me stay and I went to run from him and in my plot to escape I turned around and Makalyla scared the you know what out of me. Hubby couldn't stop laughing because he knew she was there but didn't say anything to me because he also knew she would scare me. I mean I almost ran over the poor child trying to get away to our bedroom. I guess she had a bad dream or something because she had stollen their Carebear cover off of her sister and brought it in there with her. Hubby picked her up and comforted her with his blanket. Of course I grabbed my camera and of course he protested by I won anyway. It makes my heart melt everytime I see that man in his best daddy moments.

Poor baby was so tired she just hung there in his arms before I tucked her back in.

Hubby has to work today but I am still glad we will be tucked away warm here at home. I have a Yankee Candle burning on the stove and a couple of chores I need to catch up on. I got almost everything done that I set out to do the other day so today is going to be filled with lots of playing and lounging around in warm clothes with blankies today. Try to stay warm everyone.
