Yesterday Makayla comes running into the living room screaming that her brother had chocolate milk. Only it wasn't chocolate milk. It was a brand new bottle of strawberry syrup. He poured half the bottle onto the rug in the hallway. When hubby and I went running to see how much damage was done it was clear that my beloved rug was headed for the dumpster. All we could do was laugh. And when our son came walking out of their room looking like he had just walked out of a vampire movie we laughed even harder.
Who wouldn't laugh at that face? I must also admit that while we were rolling up the rug to put it in the trash bag I kept thinking what a great blog entry this was going to make.

OMG that is hilarious!! I wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face either! Sorry you had to pitch your rug though, but at least you'll get to pick out something cute to replace it for the new apt!!
