Last night I was restless. I had been so devastated with so much and on top of that we can't finish moving because of the weather. I slept very well eventually though thanks to some rum and coke and woke up feeling a lot better. I decided to start decorating the kitchen and I must say that now I feel a lot better about this apartment. I love so much about it so I know in time I will be thrilled. It will all work out. Thanks for all of your sweet comments and well wishes. :) Here are some pics of the kitchen/dining room. I LOVE it!!

DISCLAIMER- I am not one to drink away my problems. I have serious sleep problems and with my stress I needed to relax a little. The kids weren't here and my mom was the one who sent me home with some. LOL. So just to clarify I do not turn to alcohol when I am stressed. Just felt the need to add that disclaimer.

Oh it looks so cute already though, love the white cabinets with the hardwood floors! I'm sure once you're all unpacked and settled in & you get things decorated the way you want it will really start to feel like home!
