You asked. I answered.

This was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who asked questions!

Did you always want to be a mom? What did you want to be when you "grew up"?

I pretty much always knew that the most important thing to me was to have a family. I went back and forth between wanting to be a journalist, interior designer or a chef(go figure since I hate to cook now) but in the end I couldn't stop thinking about having a bunch of cute little kiddos running around.

How in the world do you manage to keep your house to tidy with 3 little ones running around??

Thanks!! I can assure you it isn't always tidy but I have been trying. Several things have helped me. The biggest would be the move. In the old apartment we let the kids have drinks and food in their room, the living room, wherever. After the first cup of red juice spilled on the light tan carpet and would not come out I think we pretty much gave up. When we moved I wanted a fresh start and so I began to purge a LOT of stuff to sell or give away. This helped and then when unpacking I started realizing how exactly I wanted the new place to look.

The other thing is that I try to clean up small stuff throughout the day and then I make sure before we go to bed that the kitchen, dining room and living room are always clean so we start the day off good.

how did you and hubby meet?

I was talking to my bestfriend(that I have known since I was 2) one day and she was talking about some of her ex's. She mentioned hubby and talked about him for a second and as a joke I said " Oh! Hook me up!" I was completely kidding but she screamed out "OK!!" with excitement. That was the start. The first time we talked on the phone(before ever meeting) I knew I would marry him.

do you ever plan to work or go to school?

I go back and forth. I don't want to go back to work in a job I hate but if something I enjoy comes along after all the kids are in school I will consider it. If I went back to school I would want to be an OB nurse.

if you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

I definitely want to lose some weight. Hubby and I talked about going to the gym together but I am still deciding which way to go about it.

what is your biggest fear?

Losing the people I love.

have you always lived where you live?

Unfortunately yes.

you have talked alot about your hubby on call..what does he do for work?

He is a locksmith and is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. He can ask for a day or a few hours off sometimes if he needs them like for kids doctors appt. or birthdays. He works for a big company. He LOVES it and I LOVE our new income. He is state certified so he could actually go to any company he wanted but this one treats us great! They go out of their way to help us in any way they can. This job was the blessing we had been praying for YEARS for. The downside is that we never know when he will get a call so we can't do much as a family. We can't even go out to eat together because there is always a chance that as soon as we order he will have to go. It is a bummer but I guess the sacrifice is worth it to be financially stable.

are you still loving your van?

Yes I am. I wasn't loving it a few weeks ago when we had to do $600 worth of work to it but at least it is fixed and pretty much like new now.

What is your favorite childhood memory?

When I was little my mom would sit down on the floor with me and play Barbies or dolls or whatever with me. She would literally sit there for hours with the entire floor covered in dollhouses. She never got tired of it and in fact she does the same thing still with my kids.

Did you go on to school after high school? If so, for what?

No I didn't. I married hubby 2 days before I graduated high school and all we wanted was to be out on our own and start living our lives together.

Did you and hubby have a honeymoon? If so,where?

No we didn't. We had planned on going somewhere but between jobs and funds available we didn't end up going.

who is your favorite step family member and why?

HEHE. Nice try sis.

Are you ever going to give the girls their own birthday party?

This is our last year combining them since Makayla will be making new friends at school this year. Admit it though. You just don't want to bring 2 gifts to the party do you.LOL. You know I still love ya. ( For those that are confused she is my real life best friend and I like to pick on her. )

do you like to collect anything??

I collected fairy and dolphin stuff in high school. Now I am pretty much over that and my new obsession is Eiffel Tower stuff. My favorite thing in my home is my light blue metal Eiffel Tower.
