One thing I love about holidays is the oppportunity to decorate. Yesterday I went to the dollar store with my mom to find some paper plates for the kids Halloween party. I came across this adorable floor mat and oven mitt. For $1 each I couldn't go wrong. The rug is really slippery and doesn't stay put so I used some double sided strong tape and now it works great. I put it in front of the stove. Gotta love that it was only a dollar.
I also came up with our Halloween/Fall craft to do with the kids tonight. They don't know what it is yet but they are going to love it. I will make sure to take lots of pics and post about it hopefully tomorrow.
