Antibiotics and other good stuff

Well we are all on our way to recovery. I took the kids to the doctor yesterday and it turns out that they are all very sick. The boy has it the worst. His was so bad they put him on Augmentin instead of Amoxicillian because he needed super powered stuff. We are all on our way to getting better now though. Despite being very sick we have had a good couple of days. The kids have been playing great with their new toys and I have been organizing new stuff and clearing out the old.

My aunt made the kids the CUTEST aprons for Christmas and I hung them on the wall in our kitchen/dining room. Then I found the little people spoons/spatulas at Linens N Things for 70% off since they are going out of business. You can see them behind my stove. Aren't they cute? Normally $9.99 each but I got them for $3 each.

I have decided that with the new year I should challenge myself a little more. You see I have always been crafty. It runs in my family BIG time. I scrapbook and I love it but now I am ready to expand my horizons. My aunt can sew like a spider and my mom crochets like there's no tomorrow so I have asked both of them to teach me. I am so excited to learn both of these skills. I have so much more to share but I need to medicate my children again and get the kitchen cleaned up from dinner.

I used to know how to crochet but have forgotten...I should learn how again! Maybe you gave me the boost I have needed!

Glad you all are on the road to recovery! There's no worse time to be sick than Christmas.

Those aprons and little people cooking tools are so cute! I bet the kids will have a blast.

Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog yesterday. :) :)

It's good they didn't let being sick get in their way of having a great Christmas!
