PERFECT!!!

I want to get this posted while it is all fresh in my mind. First off my friends wedding was great. . I have pictures I will post soon. Congrats Toni!! I love ya girl. Now to say this night was magical would be right on. The only thing that could have been better is if my hubby had not lost his wedding band in Wal-Mart tonight. But other than that it was perfect. We don't normally do big Valentines but this year hubby pulled all his tricks and made it the most memorable one that we have ever shared.

He started off by going to Kohls and buying an entire outfit to wear to dinner tonight. I mean dress shoes, matching socks, a tie, the works. He looked so good I thought I was going to fall over. Then we continued on to the extremely upscale restaurant where we had reservations. Right in the middle of our appetizer the owner of the restaurant came out and delivered the most gorgeous huge vase of flowers for me with a card from my hubby that read " Love you forever and always" and signed by him. He knew my favorite flower is Stargazer Lillies and he had the florist add them to the roses. It is beautiful and caught me completely off guard.

Dinner was AMAZING!!! The menu items we choose were crab cakes for our appetizer, Lobster Bisque soup and Pear Salad to get us started. Then for my entree I choose chicken picatta with fettuccine and hubby had Ribeye AuPouire. For desert we both choose strawberry cheesecake. We also had a lot of champagne as well. I can not express how wonderful this night was. And one of the best parts is that we got the VIP room from the owner because hubby is her locksmith. We NEVER get a night out like this away from the kids and we very rarely have the money to splurge so it was well worth it. Like I said..it was amazing!!

In my blogs history I think I have only shared a pic of me twice on here. So let me tell you that it took me really loving this pic to post it but here you are. Me all dressed up with my hair curled, make-up done and fancy black dress on.

I don't ever want to forget this night. We are about to lay down and sleep but we have our alarm set for 1:30 a.m so we can get up again and watch a movie together. I hope everyone had as wonderful a Valentines as we did.
