I really wish I had some super exciting pictures to post and lots of stuff to talk about but I don't today. We have been pretty low key lately. So I am using this opportunity to post about my blanket. You remember it right? The one I started 4 months ago and then never showed you the end result.
Well let me give you a little update. I finished putting all the squares together and it is HUGE. After the squares were crocheted together I kinda lost interest in it. There are no less than 500 strands that need to be worked in and I still have to crochet the outside border. I have just lost interest. Partly because I am not sure if it is good enough to continue on with my time and finish it up. The kids love it so far but I remain unmotivated. My plan was to show you the entire thing in all it's completely finished glory but it just isn't working out that way. I want to finish it but I need some encouragement. So I am going to show you one picture of how it is now.
I need to be motivated. So that is where you guys come in. Please tell me to get off my hiney and finish this thing. I definitely have a love/hate relationship with it.

It's gorgeous! I love the cheery colors and yellow stitching between the squares. :) I understand the lack of motivation - I've slowed down on knitting my baby blanket. Managed a few rows this weekend and need that last kick to finish it as well.

it's fabulous :: gorgeous colours and it SO DESERVES TO BE FINISHED. and loved and cherished. Perllllease do add a border, it makes a huge difference. I'm planning a wIDe border for my big squares blanket, I'm convinced its the way to go.

Your blanket is awesome! I know what you mean about the motivation. Sometimes when I have to finish a new routine but I just dont feel like it, my friends are always there to kick me in the but!
