Splurge??

The question is whether or not I should splurge. I really want a KA mixer. Really!! The only thing is that I do not like to cook or bake. I make boxed brownies or cakes but I have never made enough to need this HUGE mixer. Well I still want one. I figure I will have options right? If I want or need to make a dozen batches of cookies I can. I am still trying to convince myself I need it. $300 is a lot if you don't know how much you will use something right? Someone talk me down.
