There is a place in our home that I always go to relax. To escape. That spot is our bedroom. I can shut the door. Watch some T.V. Scrap if I want to or even just lay down and shut my eyes. Since we live in a small apartment I had to stick my scrap space in our bedroom. Since we got the smallest room that was not an easy task. But I have made it work. Now I even like it.
I have this on going struggle with myself. Part of me loves the wild side of decorating. The let loose and do whatever tickles my fancy side. Then the other part of me wants a warm cozy feel to our home. Well let me tell you our home has ended up with both. See the green side table to the left of the bed? It wasn't always green. That was part of my wild side cutting loose. We also have a bookshelf in the living room painted in that color. I love our home. It is so us.
Our room has a constant comfort for me. It always welcomes me and lets me wind down after a long day. It is my sanctuary. Do you have a favorite spot in your home?

The bathroom. I can lock it and my three year old can't open it. (He figured out the lock for our bedroom) I will just take a long shower knowing that he can't come barging in and ask for something. It is my time alone and I love it. Crazy place, I know, I know!!! lol
Very pretty bedroom - I like the warm burgandy color of your bedspread and the green table. :) Ours is a mixture of hand-me-down furniture and I love that. It feels more homey to me than a matching set. My favorite room is probably the computer/scrap room. I spend a lot of time there creating and blogging. ;)

We've all got to have 'a space'. I'm starting to really love our downstairs. It's quiet, has all the ammenities, and I can get a lot of work done. Slowly, it's becoming my favorite spot.
Love all the pictures on the wall! My fav room is probably our living room after the kids go to bed...the love warmth of it!
Lovely room! My favorite room is also my bedroom...there's a nice comfy bed, a sofa, a TV and a pile of magazines...what more could anyone need!
In our old house my favorite was my scrap room...but the one in our new house is too small...so we're saving up for an extension to be put on in a couple of years :)
