A little bit of everything

The first thing I have to do is brag about the boy. For the past few weeks he has been telling me when he is wet or about to be wet. So on Thursday I bought him a potty chair. Well yesterday he comes up to me and says"Potty!" I take him in there and sure enough he goes. I am SO proud of him. He will be 2 next week and he is already seriously ready to be trained. In fact he is doing so good it will probably only be a week or so before he has it down. I am one proud mama.

Now in non potty training news...Makayla stayed home from school yesterday. She hadn't been feeling well and when I woke up yesterday morning I found her asleep under the computer table. When I woke her up she was crying that she didn't want to get up and she didn't feel good so I took her temp and it was almost 100 degrees so I let her stay home. The school would have sent her home with a fever anyway and she needed her rest. In all honesty the all day Kindergarten is too much for her. She has been a real little trooper but it just gets to be too much. She is already feeling better so by Monday she will be ready to go back.

Last night we made homemade pizza. I bought the sauce but I made the crust from scratch. In all honesty with the mess it made I will just pay an extra $15 and order from Pizza Hut next time. There are just some things that aren't worth doing yourself. As I was rolling out the dough it formed a heart all on it's own. Of course I had to leave it so we had heart pizza for dinner.

Can you tell that Fall is coming? I sure can. The last few mornings it has been in the 60's before heating up during the day. At least it gives us a little break in the mornings. I can't wait to go to the pumpkin patch this year. We are making it a family tradition I think. I just LOVE this time of year. Have a great weekend!

I love the heart pizza!! We use the Pillsbury crust and it's a lot less messy and still cheaper than ordering pizza. Does Makayla get a nap in Kindergarten there? Our Kindergarten's here DO NOT take naps and I think it's crazy. Kids need some rest during the day. I hope she is feeling better!
