Refreshed and Energized

I have been so stressed and exhausted lately. Even breathing felt like a chore. Last night was just what I needed to get back on track. My mom and aunt took the girls overnight so after the 2 kids I babysit left it was just me, the boy and hubby. We decided to go to Wal-Mart together but then hubby got a job call so we went with him. When we got to Wal-Mart we stepped 20 feet inside the store and turned right around and left. It was SO busy that the lines had over an hour wait time. No thanks.

So we decided to stop by Outback since we had never gotten our coupons that were promised over a month ago because they messed up our dinner. The manager was SOOOOOO nice. He kept saying how much he appreciated how nice we were and that we didn't complain at all. We just let him know that our meal was wrong last time and he said he would take care of us. Boy did he ever!!! He kept coming by talking to the boy and us and when we got our bill it was only $18!!! That included a $20 steak, a kids meal, my meal, 2 drinks and 2 alcoholic beverages. It was awesome! He even took hubby's number and name down in case he ever needs any lock work done. Then hubby got another job call so we went straight from the restaurant to there. We had so much fun just being together and relaxing.

It was exactly what I have been needing. Hubby too. I feel so much more refreshed today. I still can't believe how much fun we had. We never get a chance to go out and just enjoy life. The boy had a blast too and fell right asleep when we got home around 11:00. Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera but I am kinda glad I didn't because it gave me a chance to just enjoy the night. I have a ton of house stuff to tackle today but I feel up to it. Isn't it funny how one night can completely refresh your mind?
